i really thought this would be better but it was kinda mid。 i liked it a lot in the beginning and i thought that it was gonna be some really cool twisted mystery since on the cover my queen karen m McManus said it was so i was like okay this is gonna be good。 but honestly the story was predictable towards the middle end and the ending basically led nowhere in the end also jule's story was like kinda confusing and none of her actions are ever explained i really thought this would be better but it was kinda mid。 i liked it a lot in the beginning and i thought that it was gonna be some really cool twisted mystery since on the cover my queen karen m McManus said it was so i was like okay this is gonna be good。 but honestly the story was predictable towards the middle end and the ending basically led nowhere in the end also jule's story was like kinda confusing and none of her actions are ever explained 。。。more

A little hard to read and keep up with the different time perspectives but it was alright, I think my expectations were a little high as I was one of those people that did get mind blown at Lockharts we were liars and I thought this was going to be the same but wasnt really。 3。5 rounded up。

I found the first half of the book extremely dull。 Between that and the reverse chronological order chapters, it wasn't very enjoyable to read。 The chapters got a bit confusing because there were so many settings and you were going back in time。 I notice that this author likes to play around with the writing style, but I haven't loved it in either of her books。 I found the first half of the book extremely dull。 Between that and the reverse chronological order chapters, it wasn't very enjoyable to read。 The chapters got a bit confusing because there were so many settings and you were going back in time。 I notice that this author likes to play around with the writing style, but I haven't loved it in either of her books。 。。。more

3。5/5 ⭐️ I expected this book to be about two orphans running away, but boy was I wrong。 The whole timeline has confused me completely throughout。 I hate Forrest so much, he’s so annoying and toxic。

This was truly terrible。 Worst book I’ve read all year。 This was so predictable and uneventful and boring。 I only got through it because it’s a very short book but wow this was page after page after page of true nonsense that didn’t matter and was the least bit interesting or surprising to me。

Kara Lanelle

I wouldn’t say that I recommend this book。 I don’t mind being confused for awhile, but it took me until about half way through this book to feel engaged。 The reverse chronological concept could have been cool, but I don’t think it was executed very well。

Hauntingly unique, Genuine Fraud will stay with me for years to come。

Confusing yet predictable

good plot line but very predictable。 could have done a lot more with this story idea。 the beginning and middle was way more interesting than the end, but overall, a great book!

I DNF this book and realised I didn't review it either。 The author has a new book out which I've seen on Instagram so may pick this up again I DNF this book and realised I didn't review it either。 The author has a new book out which I've seen on Instagram so may pick this up again 。。。more

Okay…。you will think one thing is going on and it turns out totally different。 The story is told on reverse。 Most readers will hate Jule and Imogen…and Brooke, too。 Let’s not forget Forrest, the moocher boyfriend。 Can’t help but be on Team Jule。 Yet, Jule is far from what you think you knew when you started this book。 There are a whole lotta lies and pinched outta nowhere。 It gets better and better。 Dumb Immie, I had zero F’s for her。 This is a keeper for a re-read。 Can’t say much more or I will Okay…。you will think one thing is going on and it turns out totally different。 The story is told on reverse。 Most readers will hate Jule and Imogen…and Brooke, too。 Let’s not forget Forrest, the moocher boyfriend。 Can’t help but be on Team Jule。 Yet, Jule is far from what you think you knew when you started this book。 There are a whole lotta lies and pinched outta nowhere。 It gets better and better。 Dumb Immie, I had zero F’s for her。 This is a keeper for a re-read。 Can’t say much more or I will give it all away。 😉 。。。more

So I read this awhile back and I can finally make myself write a review for it。 Long story short, I hated this book 😬。 I had heard that it was told in reverse and I was intrigued by the idea。 When you read it though, it just doesn’t make sense。 If I hadn’t known that the story was told in reverse I probably would have been confused the entire time and never figured out what was happening。 I think that part of why the book is told in reverse is that the story just isn’t that interesting。 The main So I read this awhile back and I can finally make myself write a review for it。 Long story short, I hated this book 😬。 I had heard that it was told in reverse and I was intrigued by the idea。 When you read it though, it just doesn’t make sense。 If I hadn’t known that the story was told in reverse I probably would have been confused the entire time and never figured out what was happening。 I think that part of why the book is told in reverse is that the story just isn’t that interesting。 The main character is literally insane, which I know some people like but it just made me uncomfortable。 The amount of times that this book made me uncomfortable was unbelievable, and I don’t recommend this to anyone。 The ending was terrible and it just ends about where it started, but on a more psychopathic note。 Anyways, please use your valuable time to read a book that isn’t this one。 。。。more

A quick read that has a reverse story line。 Interesting to piece together the characters and events of the story!

This had potential but it just wasn’t executed well。 I am a huge fan of books written out of chronological order but this just wasn’t done the right way。 It didn’t flow the way it needed to flow and none of it felt connected。 Normally you get that “ahh” moment when things start to fall into place but this just got more confusing。
